Park 19 in Guangzhou has been off the internet for a few weeks now, and when I visited the studios a couple of weeks ago, there was plenty of cement and loud action-man tools changing the entire interior layout. But even though it’s currently metamorphosing into something new, the art is still coming, and finally I’m on their mailing list. In a couple of days a photography exhibition on one of the more contentious social engineering exersises – the single child policy opens.
