Since I spend most of every day at Tanzhaus Wasswerwerk at the moment, and it’s full of people rehearsing, I thought it would be a good time to plug Anna Tenta’s new show, Fuga Utopia.
Besides nepotism, and the low-level corruption of scratching friends’ backs which makes the world go around there are lots of other good reasons why I’m raving about Anna’s new show. Firstly she’s really hot, and quite insane, which are both ridiculously attractive character traits in my book, and also has the best fashion in Schweiz, as in she’s a triple threat … or something …
Then there’s Australian Fergus Gool in the company too, and like a pack of trading cards, I’m trying to collect the complete Adelaide set, or maybe it’s just misplaced sentimental patriotism (nah not bloody likely). Thirdly SiWiC dancer, and smuttily handsome Erick Guillard (who is far to good for Pina Bausch) has just joined the group (that’s up-to-the-minute gossip). So between the three there is no earthly reason for not flying to Zürich in a couple of weeks and worshipping dance.
Vernunft nicht von Belang sind und die letztendlich autonom funktioniert. Die vermeintliche Realität vereint Widersprüche in sich, stiftet Unruhe und verwirrt. Mit Fuga Utopia unternimmt die Cie. Anna Tenta einen Tauchgang in die verborgenen Winkel und Abgründe der menschlichen Psyche und konstruiert eine eigenwillige Parabel über das Mysterium Mensch.
