Just when I was thinking of giving it all up, getting a nice easy job (say maybe a showgirl in Shanghai or something…), the Australia-China Council comes to the rescue and offers to fund my latest piece of insanity in China.

Woohoo!!!!! So, after a return to Melbourne in a week for a couple of months (I delayed in order to fit in another weekend climbing at Jiulong; I have priorities), I’ll be heading back here very soon for my next project in May. A big yellow room, feel something. (That’s all I know right now). Now I have no excuses for not starting Chinese lessons.
