There’s so much art on at the moment, I missed the opening of the Taiwan International Documentary Festival yesterday. It was the opening of the end-of-year group exhibition at 台北國際藝術村 Taipei Artist Village, and resident artists from the last twelve months are all exhibiting their works. The three artists works which really kept me in the gallery – and OK I’m biased having spent much of my time here having late-night apartment parties with them – are (in no particular order) 傅弘誌 Fu Hong-zhi whose animations are transfixing, 陳尚平 Chen Shang-ping with his giant texta scribbles, and Perth boy Paul Caporn, who is much more evil than he lets on.
